FRAP Governance

Network Leadership

Director:

Professor Jérôme Cros (Beaujon Hospital) leads the FRAP network, supported by two deputy directors

Deputy Directors:

First term: Dr Brice Chanez (Marseille) & Dr Corinne Bousquet (Toulouse)
Second term: Dr Anthony Turpin (Lille) & Dr Sophie Vasseur (Marseille)

Administrative and Managerial Structure

Executive Committee (EC):

16 members including the Director, deputy directors, Integrated Research Program coordinators, and patient representatives
It meets to makes decisions on scientific strategy, financial management, and overall network organization

Project Manager:

Norma Bloy, PhD, ensures the daily coordination of activities, supports communication between teams, and oversees the administrative, ethical, and financial aspects of the network

Tissue-Data Committee:

Focuses on sample and data management, ethics, and compliance with quality standards
Includes representatives from Integrated Research Program hubs, oncology cooperative groups, ethics experts, and the valorization committee

Animation, Dissemination, and Education Committee:

One member per center and a patient representative
Organizes network communication, educational sessions, and thematic events

Valorization Committee:

Manages intellectual property, innovation, and technology transfer. Collaborates with regulatory agencies, industry partners, and tech transfer offices

General Assembly:

Annual meeting of all network members and committees
Reviews scientific, technical, financial, and dissemination activities

Scientific Governance

Integrated Research Program (IRP) Coordination:

Each IRP is led by a duo of coordinators with complementary expertise
Ensures gender and experience parity and representation of all French research sites
Coordinators manage intra-IRP activities and foster collaboration between IRPs

Scientific Advisory Board (SAB):

6 international experts providing strategic guidance and reviewing high-risk projects
Ensures coverage of all network expertise areas and gender parity

Health Democracy

Patient representatives are integral to the network’s governance, participating in the several committees and being involved in the integrated research programs. The network collaborates closely with patient associations to ensure research aligns with patient needs and expectations
